Today, an excess of stimuli, news, positive and negative notions, induce human beings into a state of numbness attributable to an information overload. This numbness causes us to perceive all inputs as equal to others: the enormous quantity of stress we are subjected to makes distinguishing the specific qualities of each stimulus difficult. The word around us becomes confusing and indecipherable. In this context, the search for silence, clarity and peace appears to be an essential need for contemporary society in response to this developing chaos. On the other hand, silence can be synonymous with isolation, disconnection, unwillingness to engage in discussion. It is precisely here that we find a continuous movement, dynamic and constant development, relationships between individual minds, elements that make chaos a creative possibility. The sign of a body that is immensly alive, reactive, multiform, interconnected as that of today’s society.
