My name is Darina Kmetova Langhans and I was born in Slovakia but I live and work in Austria-in Vienna-.I have Austrian citizenship.
It's very topical - our lives and environment are changing constantly and incredibly fast, politically, economically and especially ecologically - and we are very sensitive to every change and we are already transforming our reality in a very powerful way through artificial intelligence.
It's not easy, especially when you're working in the field of drawing or paper-I always have the feeling that we're standing somewhere behind a painting or an installation.An artist has to be flexible and open to new tools and use them....
I studied printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and Prague.I was very fascinated by paper - especially its elasticity and shaping.
This year it will be Paper Installations in Vienna and Berlin. Next year in Bratislava, Slovakia - in a church.I love historical interiors.
In 2013 I had my first encounter with artificial intelligence - Grasshoper in .-architecture - and I was very fascinated by the forms created by this program.
My motivation is everyday life and everyday inspiration that is around us.
To keep working, to keep going for your goal, to persevere even when it's very hard - not to be famous, because that's not how it works, but to love your work because it's part of you.
