The 11th edition of Lucca Biennale Cartasia (LUBICA), the largest paper art and architecture event, has just come to an end. From July 31 to September 25, LUBICA had the pleasure of coloring the historic center with extraordinary artworks, performances, workshops, and events for children and families.
On this occasion, we would like to thank and appreciate the work and efforts of those who made this edition possible-the artists, performers, curators, the organizing committee, the technical team, and all those in front or behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to make LUBICA 22 a reality. In addition, we are especially grateful for the support and contributions of our sponsors and collaborators, without whom Lucca Biennale Cartasia would not have been possible.
Our thanks to
Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Ecological Transition, Region of Tuscany, Province of Lucca, City of Lucca, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca, Paper and Graphics Federation, Confcomercio of Lucca and Massa Carrara, Assocarta, Order of Architects Planners Landscapers and Conservators of the province of Lucca, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Ecoverde, Wepa, Fosber, Smurfit Kappa, Tubicom, Cartiera Ansaldi, Dupont Tyvek, Berni, Treeffe, Bartoli, Trenitalia, UniCoopFirenze, Sistema Ambiente, Martinelli Luce, FlyerAlarm, MyCordenons, Kartos, Favini, Kremer, Tenuta del Buonamico, Gmund, Resoltech, Comeico, Archicart, ATI Project.
Lucca Biennale Cartasia will continue to promote the values of tradition, sustainability, culture and innovation by exploring paper as an artistic and architectural medium, creating a place where artists, architects, designers and others can meet and exchange ideas.
And now the preparations for the next edition begin! We hope to see you again in 2024.
