In 2019, for the first time Lucca Biennale Cartasia awarded prizes to participating artists and held an award ceremony during the opening day of the event. The winners were selected by a jury made up of LUBICA curators and art critics.
For the first time, the winning artists of the Outdoor call also received a prize.
